Preparing to meet the Michelin star chef and owner at La Botte in Santa Monica I had one thought going through my head: 'Are we willing to get out of the box?'. Very soon I realized that we had to in order to revitalize the branding communication of an eight years old joint that desperately need it.

Event creation & management
Get on stage in the restaurant business is rather thrilling for a multi-disciplined creator. A multi-faceted environment like nothing I've ever faced before, the restoration industry could be the perfect arena to get yourself noticed. My strength lies in storytelling and I decided to go full-on whilst embarking in this long-term creative relationship.
I engaged a copy and a photographer then we started to tackle the narrative the Italian way with the confidence and passion required to make the difference and breathe life into the venture.
The conceptual idea and creative path to follow for the online campaign emerged while watching the chef at work. Each of those delicious plate were made to tell you a story. A narrative that demands the same intensity as the elements that go down in the preparation of haute cuisine dishes.
There's an alchemy that we wanted to reveal through visual storytelling and imagery. The blog was implanted next to the website as a functional and vital internal organ. We had a blogger working full time with the design crew and photographer.
Convinced by the result of our marketing campaign we chose it was the time for organizing original event format and creating a greater community around us. Video production and documentation of the events had a great role in our successful marketing push.
